Goes Electric Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates goeselectric.nz. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

• Information you give us through our forms — your name, contact details, and details about your home or project — when you ask us to connect you with an installer or request information.
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Basic website analytics (for example pages visited), usually through cookies.

• To connect you with the installer partner(s) best suited to your enquiry, so they can contact you and provide a quote.
• To respond to you and improve our information and service.
• To send you our newsletter, or query specific guidance you have requested, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).

When you ask us to connect you with an installer, we share the details you provide with the relevant installer partner(s) so they can contact you. By submitting the form, you consent to this. We share your information only with disclosed partners for this purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Your information is held in reputable cloud platforms (such as Airtable and Fillout) with reasonable security safeguards, as set out in our Cyber Security Policy. We keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as the law requires.

Some of the cloud services we use store data on servers outside New Zealand (for example in the United States). Those providers may be subject to different privacy laws. We choose providers that offer comparable protections.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it (Privacy Act 2020, information privacy principles 6 and 7). Contact us using the details below.
